Ahmedabad, Sept. 22 -- The actor-director's National Award moment came with a double honour as Dhanush was recognised for both his work behind and in front of the camera at the 72nd National Film Awards.

Actor, producer and director Dhanush was honoured with two National Awards at a ceremony held in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, on Tuesday. President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards at the ceremony, which was held outside New Delhi for the first time.
