New Delhi, April 4 -- Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, accusing the DMK government of using the "Hindi imposition" narrative as a "facade" to mask administrative failures and deprive students of educational equity.

In a detailed post on X, Pradhan asserted that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a "manifesto for linguistic liberation" rather than an imposition, emphasising that it prioritises the mother tongue.
