Mumbai, May 2 -- The Maharashtra Pickleball Association (MPA), under the aegis of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) and led by its President Rahool Kanal, officially launched the Maharashtra Open 2026, the state's premier pickleball tournament recognised by the Pickleball World Rankings (PWR).

Minister of Cultural Affairs of Maharashtra, Ashish Shelar, was also present at the Andheri Sports Complex to inaugurate the tournament, according to a release.
