Aizawl, April 2 -- Mizoram police seized a large quantity of drugs worth over Rs 25 crore in separate operations in the state over the past few days.

According to the Mizoram police, on March 31, Aizawl District Special Branch (DSB) team intercepted two Myanmar nationals, Thanglianmung (26 years old) and Manglianthang (23 years old), both of Thinglei, Tidim district, Myanmar, near Tawngtaimual, Zemabawk area.

"During the checking of their belongings in the presence of a witness, 9 soap cases containing 104 grams of suspected heroin were recovered and seized.
