Imphal, Sept. 17 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh distributed subsidies to 2,835 eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme at Yumnam Leikai Yumjao Lairembi Lampak, Imphal, this morning, in connection with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as per the release.

Speaking at the programme, the Chief Minister said that the initiative would significantly help small and unorganised food-processing businesses upgrade, grow and enter the formal economy in the State.
