New Delhi, July 7 -- A 45-year-old man, identified as Mahesh, was stabbed to death while his brother sustained injuries after they were attacked by four to five persons in Delhi's Mangolpuri area on Monday.

The victim's family alleged that police had failed to act on an earlier stabbing incident involving the accused, claiming that timely action could have prevented the murder.

According to Delhi Police, the incident took place in the Mangolpuri area under the jurisdiction of Raj Park Police Station. One person died in the attack, while his brother was injured. Police said four to five accused persons allegedly carried out the stabbing before fleeing the spot.
