New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project, spanning 508 km, is currently under execution with technical and financial assistance from the Government of Japan. The project is being planned and constructed primarily on an elevated viaduct.
The design for stations on the corridor provides for security measures like controlled entry points, baggage scanners, DFMDs (Door Frame Metal Detectors), CCTV(Closed-Circuit Television) cameras, etc.
