Manchester, July 9 -- Premier League giants Manchester United have unveiled the location for their new, proposed 1,00,000 seater stadium, sitting approximately 350 metres north-west of the existing iconic Old Trafford Stadium, reported Sky Sports.

It is uncertain, though, what the future of the current home venue of multi-time Premier League champions will be.

Just over two weeks back, the club announced the acquisition of most of the land to be used for the stadium, which will eventually become the largest in the UK. More details have been revealed regarding the regeneration of the Trafford Wharfside area - the area around the club's current home stadium, with the new stadium being at the heart of the Wharfside Masterplan.
