Klaasen crosses 600-run mark in IPL 2026, becomes fifth batter to make 2000 runs for SRH
Hyderabad, May 22 -- Sunrisers Hyderabad's destructive batter Heinrich Klaasen added another record under his name when he surpassed Rishabh Pant to score the highest runs by a batter in an IPL season, while batting at number four or lower.
The 34-year-old South African has made 606 runs for SRH this season and he became the first batter to cross the 600-run mark while batting at number four or lower in an IPL season. He overtook Pant, who had made 579 for Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils) in 2018.
Riyan Parag is third on the list with 573 which he made for Rajasthan Royals in 2024 season. The fourth place is occupied by Rohit Sharma (538 runs for MI in 2013). Glenn Maxwell is after him with 513 runs, which he made for RCB in the 2...
