Washington DC, June 29 -- Actors Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson say they hope their reunion film 'Happy Hours' leaves audiences with a renewed sense of hope, compassion and connection, following years of social isolation after the Covid-19 pandemic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film, which reunites the former Dawson's Creek co-stars, premiered earlier this month at the Tribeca Festival. Written and directed by Holmes, 'Happy Hours' draws inspiration from her experience working on the 2024 Broadway production of Our Town.
