Edinburgh, Oct. 30 -- Karan Johar's directorial debut, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, will mark its 30th anniversary with a special screening at the Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) in 2028.

Director Karan Johar has accepted the festival's invitation to attend the special screening, which will mark three decades since the film's release.

The invitation was extended earlier this week during a meeting at the Mumbai offices of Johar's production banner, Dharma Productions, as per Variety.
