New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare JP Nadda today inaugurated the Centre for Advanced Bladder Diagnostics in the Department of Urology and the PET-CT and SPECT-CT facilities in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.

During his visit, Nadda also visited the Heart Command Centre and the Sports Injury Centre at Safdarjung Hospital and reviewed the services and activities being undertaken at these centres.

During the detailed review of the functioning and ongoing projects of Safdarjung Hospital, Nadda emphasised the need for regular review of projects and periodic inspection of projects in the pipeline, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
