Washington DC, April 2 -- Actor John Travolta is set to unveil his long-gestating directorial debut, 'Propeller One-Way Night Coach' at the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, reported Variety. It is an adaptation of Travolta's children's book published in 1997.

The movie will bow in the non-competitive section, Cannes Premiere, at the Debussy Theater, ahead of its global debut on Apple TV on May 29. His presence at the festival will bring some Hollywood star power in a quieter year for studios.

Travolta's passion project will bring him back to the Croisette where he previously presented, as an actor, "Pulp Fiction" in 1994, "She's So Lovely" in 1997 and "Primary Colors" in 1998, reported Variety.
