Jharkhand showcases six GI-tagged handloom products at Bharat Tex 2026
New Delhi, July 14 -- Jharkhand Minister for Industries Sanjay Prasad Yadav on Tuesday inaugurated the Jharkhand Pavilion at Bharat Tex 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, showcasing six Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged handloom products to present the state's rich textile heritage, traditional craftsmanship and the skills of its artisans before national and international buyers.
The pavilion features Tassar Silk, Kuchai Silk, Bhagaiya Saree and Fabric, Tumka Chadar, Bhoya Saree and Fabric, and Pancho Saree and Fabric, reflecting Jharkhand's cultural identity and centuries-old weaving traditions.
