New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders from Jharkhand met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi on Wednesday and discussed the development of the state as well as the current political situation.

The meeting comes at a time when the Jharkhand government on Tuesday released a list of 44 recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) that were cancelled following irregularities, amid student protests over the issue.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital today.
