New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is set to embark on a two-day official visit to Russia on August 23-24 and will meet his counterpart Sergey Lavrov along with co-chairing the 27th Session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC).

The details were shared by the Ministry of External Affairs in a press release on Saturday.

As per the release, the EAM will pay a visit to Russia at the invitation of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
