Jaipur Municipal Corporation Jamadar trapped by ACB for accepting Rs 50,000 bribe
Jaipur, July 2 -- The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested a Jamadar of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 in exchange for issuing a land lease (patta).
The accused, identified as Ramsingh, had allegedly demanded a total bribe amount of Rs 2 lakh from the complainant.
The trap operation was executed under the leadership of ACB Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Gyan Prakash Naval.
