Jaipur, Sept. 19 -- The Rajasthan Election Commission has officially issued a public notice for the election of the Chairperson of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation, a position specifically reserved for the General Category, the notice said.

According to Ashish Kumar, the Returning Officer for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor General Elections 2026, candidates and their proposers can submit their nomination papers today, September 19, 2026.

He said that candidates or their proposers may submit nomination papers between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium, Room No. 204 (EC Hall), First Floor, Municipal Corporation Headquarters, Lalkothi, Jaipur.
