New Delhi, April 3 -- Punjab FC came from behind with two quick goals early in the second half to defeat Mohammedan Sporting Club 2-1 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Friday.
The victory saw Punjab FC climb to fifth in the standings with 11 points, while Mohammedan remain pointless at the bottom. The Shers captain, Dani Ramirez, was named the Player of the Match, according to a release.
Punjab FC head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis made two changes to his side, bringing in Bede Amarachi Osuji and Suresh Meitei.
