Tehran, April 7 -- Iran has called on the United Nations Security Council to take "immediate action" after US President Donald Trump said the United States had attempted to send weapons to Iranian protesters, according to a report by Iranian State Media Press TV.
Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, in a letter to the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council, described Trump's remarks as a "clear admission" of inciting violence and interference in Iran's internal affairs.
