New Delhi, April 29 -- The disruption caused by the Iran conflict should serve as a catalyst for India to accelerate its push for indigenous semiconductor design and sovereign electronics, said Sanjay Gupta, Chief Development Officer and Global Head of Engineering at L&T Semiconductor Technologies.

In an exclusive conversation with ANI, Gupta said the geopolitical turmoil has "impacted global supply chains and disrupted a lot of businesses because a lot of things got just choked."
