New York, Aug. 16 -- The Indian-American community in New Jersey created a Guinness World Record for the "Largest Flagpole Number" during a special celebration marking the 80th Independence Day for India and the 250th anniversary of the US.

In a post on X, the Consulate General said it joined hands with the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) for the record-setting initiative, bringing together members of the Indian-American community to celebrate India-US friendship.
