India's medium-term growth to ride on consumption, investment revival: Report
New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- India's medium-term economic growth is expected to be driven by strong domestic consumption, sustained public infrastructure spending and a revival in private investment, while rising per-capita income is likely to sustain this growth and support a higher growth trajectory by 2030, according to a report by Crisil.
The report noted that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projects India's per-capita GDP to grow by more than 9 per cent between 2027 and 2030, supported by rising incomes and productivity gains.
