New Delhi, Oct. 5 -- India is moving from being a services-led technology nation towards becoming a product-focused technology nation, with new products and emerging technologies expected to take centre stage at the 10th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026, Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Monday.

Speaking to the media ahead of IMC 2026, Scindia said the event will showcase India's growing capabilities in telecom connectivity and emerging technologies, with participation from hundreds of companies and thousands of exhibitors.

He said the country's telecom connectivity is providing the foundation for exploring new frontiers of technology.
