India emerges as Asia-Pacific's least constrained data centre market amid AI boom
New Delhi, May 29 -- India is rapidly emerging as one of the most attractive data centre markets in the Asia-Pacific region, helped by lower power, cost and labour constraints compared to other major economies, according to a report by CBRE. The trend is expected to accelerate India's digital infrastructure growth, with the country's total data centre stock likely to cross 3 GW by the end of 2028.
