IN-SPACe issues 130 authorizations as India's private space sector crosses 450 Startups
New Delhi, July 22 -- India's private space sector has received over 800 applications for facilitation and authorisation in the last four years since the sector opened up to private investment, with the space regulator issuing 130 authorisations so far, including to rocket-maker Skyroot Aerospace, a senior official said on Wednesday.
PK Jain, Director, PMAD, at the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe), Department of Space, was speaking while chairing a session at the IAFI and Forum Global Space Policy Conference here.
