Islamabad, Sept. 20 -- Jailed former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan underwent a medical check-up amid anxiety surrounding his physical well-being, according to a media report on Sunday.

Khan, aged 73, has remained incarcerated since 2023 following his conviction in a corruption matter, currently residing within the high-security Adiala Jail located in Rawalpindi.

While his supporters have claimed that his health has deteriorated due to insufficient medical attention, prison authorities have consistently dismissed this allegation.

According to Geo News, citing sources, a specialist team deployed from the state-run Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences conducted Khan's medical assessment.
