Hyderabad, April 5 -- A woman in Hyderabad has alleged that she was forcibly converted to Islam, raped, and blackmailed by her husband, Nawaz (alias Navadurga), and his family members.

Speaking to ANI, she provided an outline of a harrowing experience involving deception, physical violence, financial exploitation, and religious coercion. The victim met the accused, Nawaz, when he approached her to rent a shop. She alleged he falsely claimed to have converted to Hinduism and changed his name to Navadurga to gain her trust.
