Hyderabad, Aug. 22 -- In a bid to ease traffic congestion and improve road safety, the Hyderabad City Police flagged off 50 traffic patrolling bikes along with 100 traffic marshals.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand said the initiative was launched under the Hyderabad City Security Council in collaboration with private industries.

"On behalf of the Hyderabad City Security Council, two important programmes related to Hyderabad traffic have been launched... Today, with the efforts of the Traffic Forum, 100 traffic marshals and 50 traffic bikes have been launched... These are wholly contributed by private industries...
