Kolar, Aug. 27 -- Honey Baisoya set the mark at four-under 68 on the opening day of the Rs. 1 crore Kolar Open 2025 as the PGTI made its debut at a new venue, the ZION Hills Golf County located near Kolar in Karnataka.
Honey, who hails from the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram, took a two-shot lead and established the course record at the new venue thanks to his first-round effort in gusty conditions, as per a press release from PGTI.
The 29-year-old Baisoya, a seven-time winner on the PGTI in the past, was the clubhouse leader as the first round could not be completed on Tuesday due to the fading light. Eight players out of a total of 126 are yet to complete round one.
