Shimla, Sept. 3 -- Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Wednesday released the 16th edition of the distinguished literary work "Hindi Ka Gadya Sahitya" at Raj Bhavan, Shimla, a release said.

The book was authored by eminent scholar, critic, and former Head of the Hindi Department at Gorakhpur University, late Acharya Ramchandra Tiwari, recipient of the Hindi Gaurav Samman (2006) from Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow. The revised and expanded edition has been compiled by his son, Dr Premvrat Tiwari.
