Shimla, Aug. 19 -- The Monsoon Session of the 14th Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin on Friday, with Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Wednesday saying 1,026 questions have been received online for the 10-sitting session and an Assurance Committee will be constituted under the Speaker to monitor compliance with assurances given on the floor of the House.

Speaking to the media in Shimla and later to ANI, Pathania said the session would commence at 11 am on August 21 and continue till September 3. An all-party meeting will be held on Thursday to discuss the smooth conduct of the session.
