Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely to continue in parts of Himachal Pradesh
Shimla, July 27 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall across parts of Himachal Pradesh till August 2, urging people to remain vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel as the monsoon remains active across the state.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, widespread rainfall was recorded across several districts during the past 24 hours, with Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kullu and Kangra witnessing significant precipitation. Khandaghat in Solan district recorded one of the highest rainfall totals during the period.
