Patna, June 14 -- A massive rush of aspirants at Patna Junction on Sunday led to chaotic scenes as candidates appearing for the Bihar Police Prohibition Department examination struggled to board overcrowded trains, with several students reporting that they missed their exams due to delays, cancellations and lack of seating arrangements.

Many students alleged that train cancellations and inadequate special services led to severe overcrowding, forcing passengers to travel hanging from train doors in unsafe conditions.
