Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday emphasised that the Central Government remains committed to uplifting marginalised sections of society through targeted welfare schemes as part of the nationwide events to mark the 650th birth anniversary of saint Guru Ravidas.

Speaking to the reporters, Reddy noted that the teachings of Sant Ravidas, centred on social equality, compassion, and welfare for all, serve as a foundational inspiration for the administration's policy direction.
