Kachchh, April 1 -- Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) at Kandla on Tuesday set a new milestone in renewable energy logistics by handling the highest-ever cargo volume of wind turbine blades in a single shipment.

A total of 153 wind turbine blades, amounting to 1,67,675 cubic meters (CBM), arrived at the port aboard the MV KANG QI FU HUA, marking a significant achievement in the port's contribution to India's green energy infrastructure.

In a post on X, Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla shared, "Kandla Creates History! Setting a new benchmark in renewable energy logistics, DPA Kandla achieves the highest cargo volume (CBM) handled in Wind Turbine Blades - a massive 1,67,675 CBM in a single shipment carrying 153 blades!"
