Kolkata, Nov. 11 -- Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir visited the iconic Kalighat Mandir in Kolkata to offer prayers ahead of India's first Test match against South Africa, which begins on Friday.
The Indian team kicked off their practice session ahead of the two-match Test series against South Africa in Kolkata on Tuesday. The opening match of the series will be played at Eden Gardens.
Indian skipper Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, Sai Sudharsan, Ravindra Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy were seen taking part in the practice session ahead of the series.
