New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel on Monday said that the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will create opportunities for businesses on both sides, while stressing the need to bring Indian and European companies together to explore markets and facilitate greater exchanges.

In an exclusive interview with ANI, Bettel said that while the FTA has been negotiated by the European Union (EU), its benefits would ultimately depend on companies identifying and pursuing opportunities in the respective markets.

"The FTA, the deal is done by the EU, but afterwards, it's important to see the opportunities in the markets, because in the end national companies, which are EU companies...
