New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Ministry, is supporting the transformation of rural entrepreneurs through training, financial assistance, improved tools and technology, market support and other interventions.

According to the MSME Ministry, across rural India, traditional skills and locally available resources are increasingly becoming the foundation for new entrepreneurial opportunities. From scientific beekeeping and value-added honey products to vetiver-based enterprises and banana-fibre products, rural entrepreneurs are demonstrating how local knowledge can be transformed into viable businesses and livelihood opportunities.
