Mumbai, Sept. 24 -- Marking a milestone moment for Indian capital markets, National Stock Exchange (NSE) MD and CEO Ashish Kumar Chauhan said the strong global participation in its initial public offering (IPO) reflects foreign investors' deep confidence in high-quality, transparent, and regulated Indian assets.

Speaking to ANI News on the sidelines of the NSE listing at the BSE in Mumbai on Thursday, Chauhan described the exchange as a direct reflection of the nation's expanding economy.

"This is a proxy for India's growth," Chauhan said. "NSE is an asset which is, in a way, reflecting India's growth. It has reflected that over the last 32 years since its operations began, and now it is going to reflect it further."
