Munich, Feb. 15 -- Highlighting the European Union's expanding global footprint, Kaja Kallas, the Vice President and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Commission, stated that the bloc is actively forging deep-seated security and defence partnerships with key global players, including India.

In her speech prior to addressing a panel titled "Europeans Assemble! Reclaiming Agency in a Rougher World" on the final day of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2026 on Sunday, Kallas emphasised that Europe is moving beyond its traditional identity as a trade power to become a more decisive security actor.
