New Delhi, Nov. 4 -- South Africa batter Dewald Brevis has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Pakistan, which started on Tuesday, due to a low-grade shoulder muscle strain. The 22-year-old picked up the injury during the third T20I of the tour in Lahore on Saturday, as per ESPNcricinfo.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has not yet announced a replacement for Brevis. The youngster will remain with the squad in Pakistan to undergo rehabilitation, as the team prepares for their upcoming tour of India later this month, which includes two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.
