New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- Two alleged members of the Vikas Kalia gang, wanted in connection with the firing incident during the Sadar Bazar-Nabi Karim Shobha Yatra in mid-September, were injured in an exchange of fire with the Delhi Police Special Staff in Central Delhi on Tuesday morning, police said.

The accused have been identified as Mukesh alias Chinnu and Akash, a declared bad character, police said. Both sustained gunshot injuries to their legs and were subsequently shifted to a hospital for treatment.
