New Delhi, Nov. 5 -- Delhi Police's Special Cell has registered an FIR over the alleged circulation of Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Material (CSEAM) through Meta platforms, following a complaint flagging approximately 10 links, police said.

According to Delhi Police, FIR No. 236/2026 was registered on October 8 under Sections 67 and 67B of the Information Technology Act. The police have initiated an investigation to verify the allegations and examine the flagged links.

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) member Priyank Kanoongo also confirmed the registration of the FIR in a post on X.
