Delhi police arrests arms supplier Salim Pistol under UAPA; court grants 5-day remand
New Delhi, July 2 -- Delhi police has arrested alleged arms dealer Salim Ahmed alias Salim Pistol under the UAPA. He has been taken into 5 days' custodial remand by Delhi Police in an Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) case. He is also named in two MCOCA cases.
Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Amit Bansal on Wednesday granted 5 days' custodial remand to Salim Pistol in the UAPA case. He will be produced before the court on July 6.
Delhi police sought his Custodial remand to interrogate him in the UAPA case.
Earlier, on June 12, the Delhi High Court stayed the order of interim bail granted to Salim Ahmed alias Salim Pistol.
