Delhi High Court Advocates Welfare Trust launches golf cart service for senior, aged and needy lawyers
New Delhi, July 30 -- The Delhi High Court Advocates Welfare Trust on Thursday launched a golf cart service within the Delhi High Court premises to facilitate the movement of senior, aged and needy members of the Bar.
The golf carts were formally flagged off by Delhi High Court Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya in the presence of Justice Amit Sharma. The flag-off ceremony was held at 10:15 AM from the podium of Chamber Block-III in the Delhi High Court complex.
The initiative has been undertaken pursuant to a unanimous resolution passed in a meeting of the Delhi High Court Advocates Welfare Trust. Under the resolution, the Trust purchased two golf carts to provide transport assistance within the court complex for advocates who are ...
