New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- A Public Interest Litigation has been moved before the Delhi High Court seeking directions to ensure uninterrupted mobile network and internet/Wi-Fi connectivity inside courtrooms and court complexes across Delhi.

The plea was taken up on Tuesday by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice D K Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia. Advocate Shannu Baghel, who appeared in person, was asked by the Court to implead the Delhi High Court as a necessary party to the petition.

The petition raises concerns over poor mobile signals and internet connectivity in several courtrooms, stating that the problem affects lawyers, litigants and other visitors during court hours.
