New Delhi, July 20 -- The Delhi High Court on Monday granted bail to a passenger accused of robbing a Rapido driver of Rs 600 and a mobile phone at gunpoint. The accused was in custody for a period of more than a year.

As per the FIR of June 4, 2025, lodged at Timar Pur Police Station, the accused, Fareed Kaha alias Javed, booked a rapido ride and robbed the driver after showing him a country-made pistol.

Justice Manoj Jain granted bail to Fareed Kaha after considering the period of custody and finding his conduct in jail satisfactory.

" The applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in a sum of Rs 25,000 with one local surety of like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court," Jus...
