New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday launched the registration portal for the 'PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana', an initiative aimed at providing free electricity alongside income-generating opportunities to residents of the national capital through rooftop solar installations.

Delhi Power Minister Ashish Sood, who was present at the launch event, described the initiative as a "revolutionary step" for Delhi, asserting that it marks the end of years of "misinformation and deceptive politics" regarding power subsidies.
