New Delhi, July 1 -- The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested an alleged associate of the Tillu Tajpuria gang in connection with last year's sensational firing incident in Alipur, where around 12 rounds were allegedly fired during an attempt to grab a disputed property, police said on Wednesday.

The accused have been identified as Sandeep alias Daagu Maharaj (40) and his cousin Deepak (32), both residents of Sonipat in Haryana. Police said Sandeep is an active associate of the Tillu Tajpuria gang.

According to police, the incident took place on October 30, 2025, when 30-45 armed men allegedly reached a disputed plot in Ramjanpur village under the Alipur police station area to forcibly take possession of the property. During the inc...
